CONNECT Update Focuses on Program Changes and Release of Feature Comparison Matrix

The CONNECT program recently implemented some changes to its sprint sessions to reflect the needs of the CONNECT community. Starting this month, sprint reviews will be discussed in the CONNECT Forums. This approach will allow the community to participate at their convenience. It is the product team's hope that hosting the sprints in the Forums will generate exciting discussions about the development of CONNECT, and feedback about features and enhancements.

CONNECT Supports MiHIN Onboarding to eHealth Exchange

The Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) recently announced that they have completed the onboarding process with Healtheway to the eHealth Exchange, allowing it to securely exchange health data with other eHealth Exchange participants including the Social Security Administration and Veterans Health Administration.

CONNECT 4.0 Demo Shows Real Time Interoperability at HIMSS 2013

For the first time, the CONNECT Team will demo CONNECT 4.0 at the HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition. At this event next week (March 3-7) in New Orleans, the team will be participating with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) in the Interoperability Showcase.

CONNECT 4.0 is Here and Ready for Download!

CONNECT 4.0, the dynamic, open source platform designed to enable health information exchange worldwide is here! This release of CONNECT will give users more flexiblity to exchange health information with trading partners, and allow them to fulfill core Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements related to secure email messaging through CONNECT 4.0's support of Direct specifications.
